Gnemo Demo At UMFCon
WANTED Battle Site Zero
Recently Nicol posted our web-address on a gaming chat forum.  From what I understand there was a very positive response
to the imagery displayed and the entire environment represented for Battle Site Zero.  Indeed having Gnemo on the verge of
beginning it's initial marketing and sales cycle, Nicol and I (Mark Ryberg) have been turning our efforts to readying Battle Site
Zero for market as well.  I can promise all those interested parties out there that this game is going to be more than you
expected.  While there is something here for everyone, it is also a dynamic world of great wonders and dangers.
Battle Site Zero Shorts
Keep an eye on the Battle Site Zero page for short stories soon to be put forth protraying adventures in the world of Battle
Site Zero.  Stories are being written currently by Mark Ryberg and Nicol Miller.  We are also now considering submissions of
writing and art for Battle Site Zero, please see our information page for details.
In Gnemo News, recently our own Nicol Miller gave demontrations of the much awaited Gnemo card game University of
Maine Farmington's UMFCon.  Nicole has been part of the Bawn Shaunts Design Studio team for the last year working as a
writer and game designer.  The Gnemo cards seen in the images are still in a rough stage but as you can see we're comfortable
enough with the product to show it to the public.
Tom is currently designing
the border for the
Gnemo
playing cards himself.

Here's a picture of him deep
in contemplation upon the
stoney shore of Canada.
Tom Kidd and his lovely wife Andrea came to visit the Bawn Shaunts Maine office
recently.

We at Bawn Shaunts Design Studio are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a true forefather of
gaming as we know it.  Though none of us ever met Gary Gygax, we have immensely enjoyed the games
he established.  His life and legacy impact us even today, encouraging us to embrace our passions, follow
our bliss and share the vision.  No matter what it has seemed like in the past, the mold he cast as a
gaming pioneer has given so many of us a common ground upon which to begin that his achievements
echo through our own efforts.  We offer his family and loved ones our simple condolences for their loss.

Gnemo Moving Forward March 26, 2008

Mailings have begun of the Gnemo sales flyer and
sales information to retailers as of today.  The first
to be sent are Hawaii and Alaska as they have the
furthest to travel.  Other state mailings shall follow
this general pattern: New England and New York by
the end of this week, the rest of the East Coast and
some Midwest by the end of the weekend and the
rest of the Midwest, Mountain and Pacific coast
zones by the end of next weekend.  If you're a
Gnemo fan or represent an interested retailer then
please contact Mark at battlesitezero@hotmail.com
for information on how to order.  This initial
offering to retailers across the United States will be
printed in the form of a limited edition that will be
released on June 15th.  Only what is pre-ordered of
this edition will be printed and made available
through retailers.  A standard edition with standard
backing shall be printed for Bawn Shaunts Design
Studio to sell at conventions but the initial limited
edition of Gnemo will be the only time it is printed
with the iconic Winsor McCay city backing upon the
cards. This is the mark of the first ever printing of
Gnemo in any cohesive form that relates details
about the world and people therein.  Please
encourage a retailer near you to take a look at our
website and contact us.
